I have had the pleasure of having pet rabbits for more than 30 years.
It's been a huge learning curve as I imagine it is for most people - starting out and thinking you know what rabbits need, and then finding out what you actually need to do in order to care for them properly and create the right environment for them to be happy.
During my twenties I did years of volunteer work for rabbit rescues so I have looked after a lot of rabbits with a variety of different and sometimes complicated needs.
We understand a lot about rabbit health and illnesses having fostered (and kept!) bunnies through the years who didn't get adopted through no fault of their own.
We are currently taking a break from having our own pet rabbits since Bailey & Zigzag passed away at the grand age of 14+ but we very much enjoy being able to look after them for everyone else.
